6 lath 1.8m Pulley Clothes Airer, Traditional Ceiling Drying Rack, Black Cast-Metal Ends,

Make the most of a small kitchen or utility room with this Remi Tools Traditional Pulley Clothes Airer —a ceiling-mounted drying rack that uses rising warm air to dry laundry naturally, at zero running cost.

Customers regularly say clothes dry noticeably faster up near the ceiling than on a floor-standing airer, and several have switched to this from a dehumidifier-and-airer combination for a cheaper, quicker result on damp days.

The kit includes 6 smooth, well-finished wooden laths (1.8m long) supported by sturdy black cast-metal rack ends for a classic Victorian look, plus ceiling pulleys, a cleat hook and strong cotton-covered cord  everything needed for a complete, secure installation. Reviewers describe the finished result as solidly made, with smooth-running pulleys and a neat, professional look once fitted.

Installation is straightforward for anyone comfortable with basic DIY and a drill — allow around an hour from box to first wash load. Once up, the airer folds out of the way when not needed and takes the strain off your tumble dryer, drying a full wash load without using any electricity.
